Effects of Different Hormone on the Flowering of Two Nobile-Type Dendrobium Cultivars

Abstract

Abstract:

The effect of extraneous GA₃,6-BA on the flowering rate,the number of flower,the flowering time,and flowering qulity of two nobile-type Dendrobium,D.Corona×(D.Malones×D.Love)(D1)and D.Red Emperor×D.Love Hunter(D2),were tested.The results indicated that the concentration and kind of used hormone had different effect on the hybrids.D1 should be treated in 25 mg·L^-1 GA₃ and 800 mg·L^-1 6-BA,which promotes the flowering and the quality of flower.But D2 should be treated in 10 mg·L^-1 GA₃ and 800 mg·L^-1 6-BA.
