泡桐新品种‘南四泡桐1号’

A New Variety of Paulownia australis ‘Tetraploid Paulownia australis 1’

摘要: ‘南四泡桐1号’是以二倍体南方泡桐无菌苗叶片为试验材料,通过秋水仙素诱导结合组织培养和无性系测定获得的泡桐新品种。新品种在生长量、木材性质、自然接干能力和抗逆性等方面均优于南方泡桐,可通过催芽处理、埋根等方法繁殖育苗,适合在南方泡桐的自然分布区和栽培区推广应用。

Abstract: The new variety of Paulownia fortunei, ‘Tetraploid Paulownia fortunei 1’ was obtained through cluchicines induction combined with tissue culture and clonal selection with P. fortunei as the parent plant. The characteristics of this new variety are superior to its progenitor in growth, physical and chemical properties of wood, natural stem-join, and stress resistance. Its seedlings can be propagated by means of tissue culture and buried-root, and ‘Tetraploid Paulowina fortunei 1’ would be popularized in the natural distribution and cultivated areas of P. fortunei.
