Abstract: In a multivariate population, all the observed and studied indexes were expressed with marks, and all the marks were restricted with the rule of equal probability for equal mark. The quality and its ordering of a unit in a population were assessed according to the mark gained. The procedure was mainly used to establish a marking standard for a unit in a multivariate population.
