Abstract:

Based on the contrast and analysis of the growth characteristics and patterns of Pinus taeda plantation in different planting zones in Fujian Province,the results showed that,Richards function was the best model for growth of the dominant trees of Pinus taeda in Fujian Province.The height curve equation h=a₀d^a1 was most accordant the pattern of height with DBH.With the decrease of suitable degree of planting zones,the DBH increment decreased,and the year when the mean DBH increment and current annual volume increment was maximum reached earlier.
