摘要： 本文从木材试样内切削阻力的变异和不同条件下代表一定刀具锋利程度差异的切削祖力差异的变异两个方面,论证了在直角自由切削主切削测定中,通过对木材试样的试切削进行刀具锋利度控制的有效性,并为此种方法的合理运用提供了依据。

Abstract: The control over knife sharpness is of great importance in determiningwood cutting resistance For this control, it is necessary to develop a methodof simply and effectively determining knife sharpness In this paper, the effe-ctiveness of the method to determine and control knife sharpness by means oftrail cutting with wood samples in the determination of main cutting force inorthogonal cutting is demonstrated, and the basis for its reasonable applicationis provided through investigations on the variation of wood cutting resistancewithin wood samples, and that of the difference in cutting resistance whichrepresents that in knife sharpness under various conditions.
