Abstract: After tract was tested in two forest bureaus in Heilongjiang province, it was applied to provincial inventory. This paper showed the results of the test and the principle of this method. The authors derived two new applicable formulas, which had the advantage of the original one in forest inventory of volume-increment, area estimation and time efficiency.
