Abstract: Soil permeability is an important index to evaluate water source conservation function. This paper chooses three vegetation patterns(cropland as control, patternⅠArundinaria amara+Hemarthria compressa,PatternⅡBambusa pervariabilis×Dendrocalamopsis oldhami+Hemarthria compressa) as study objects and has a locating study on their soil permeability by means of infiltration canister. The primary research shows that the relationship between soil infiltration rate and time of three vegetation patterns can be expressed as V=Aln(t)+B.On this basis, the seasonal change of soil infiltration rate of three vegetation patterns is discussed in this paper. The results indicate that patternⅠ plays a greater role in improving soil permeability, the control plays a great role in improving soil permeability, and patternⅡ plays no obvious role in improving it.
