Abstract: Based on the analysis for a soil-tree transplanter system,a empiric eduation relating the spading resistance of a tree transplanter with state of soil,type of spade and spading distance has been developed by the model spade which scale factor is equal to 0.5.Predicted spading resistance generally is accurate to within 8.95% of actual prototype spade in the range of the test value by the predicting equation.
