Abstract: With GreenOrbs deployed in the forest based on the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), a new device (Lr100GE-6400) was developed in this study. Five sample points with remarkable different soil surface structure characteristics in the forest were chosen for comparing the results measured with the Lr100GE-6400 and with Li-8100. Research results showed that the relative error of the Lr100GE-6400 is less than 7%.
