Abstract: The frequency of lignotubers on the seedlings of Eucalyptus tereticornis Sm.was studied.There are indications that lignotubers occur in all populations within the range of the species,but the lignotuber frequency varies significantly among the populations with an average value of 83.5 percent.Compared with E.camaldulensis and also E.amplifolia,the lignotuber frequency of E.tereticornis is much higher.
