Abstract: We collected data of more than three thousands trees from forest inventory for 33 years to study the growth of main dominant specise. The trees included in the study are as follows: Picea purpurea, P. likiangensis, P. brachytyla, P. balfouriana, Abies faxoniona, A. georgei, A. squamata, Larix potaninii, Tsuga chinensis, Pinus tabulaeformis, P. densata, P. armandii, P. yunnanensis, P. massoniana, Cunninghamia lanceolata, Cupressus funebris, Betula albasinensis, Schirna sinensis, Cycolobanopsis glauca, Populus davidiana, Castanopsis platycantha etc.The scientific management of this forest area are discussed in the paper.
