Abstract: During the period of 1962—1980,experimental planting of naked-root ed seedlings of Pinus koraiensis under the canopy of low quality broadleaved secondary growth has been done after selective felling. It has been found that the total volume increment of the treated stands is 1—2 times higher than that of the untreated stand after 18 years.
