Abstract: In the present paper two new species of sawflies are described, one belonging to the genus Macrophya and the other to the genus Caliroa. 1. Macrophya fraxina New sp. (Fig. Ⅰ) This species resembles M. verticalis Konow, but differs from it in the following characters: Body black with yellowish white spots. Two yellowish white triangular spots on the median lobes of mesonotum. Each side of the Ⅰ-Ⅷ abdominal segments has an oblong spot. Two oblong spots on the median part of the posterior margin of Ⅶ-Ⅷ abdominal tergites. Saw small and short, notches of saw very shallow. 2. Caliroa camellia New sp. (Fig. Ⅱ) This species resembles C. vaccini Okutani, but differs from it in the following characters: The apices of coxae and tibiae yellow. Tarsal claws with cleft; the inner teeth more or less parallel to and shorter than the outer teeth. Wings yellow and hyaline, hind wings with middle cells. The types are deposited in the insect collection of the Forest Research Institute, Chinese Academyof Forestry, Beijing, China.
