A New Variety Ziziphus jujube ‘Jinchang 1’

Abstract: Ziziphus jujube ‘Jinchang 1’ was selected from a mutant plant of Hupingzao jujube. The new variety had relatively strong growth vigor, large size leaf, and thorn regenerated. It was characterized with large, uniform, attactive and good quality fruit which was fit for dessert, dry and candied jujube processing etc. The cultivar had better adaptability for adverse growing conditions and was most suitable for planting in north China near the Yellow River and northwest jujube planting area.
