Abstract: The wear of knife during the veneer-peeling procedure is a serious problem.Besides mechanical wear of the knife,acetic acid and polyphenols in the sap may also react with the knife and corrode it.According to the theory of electricity-chemistry corrosion,anew method "Veneer is peeld under the acting of electricity applied directly" has been designed and the wear of knife is reduced.
